Appointment Deposit Policy

To book a spay or neuter appointment, Michigan Humane requires a:

If a sterilization or dental appointment is missed or rescheduled with less than two business days of notice, the deposit will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule your sterilization or dental appointment with more than two days of notice to our clinic, the deposit can be moved to the future appointment. Preventative care appointments require 24 hours’ notice to reschedule and not forfeit the deposit.

The deposit will be accepted by debit or credit card over the phone at the time the appointment is scheduled. If you prefer to pay in cash or check, you can come into the clinic to make the appointment in person and pay the deposit at that time. Appointments will not be scheduled without an appointment deposit.  Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable.

Veterinary Care Packages

We offer streamlined wellness packages to make comprehensive care more accessible. Our packages bundle essential exams, core vaccinations, and diagnostic screenings.

For Existing Veterinary Clients

Michigan Humane offers home delivery of pet medications through our online pharmacy for existing veterinary clients, providing a convenient way to manage your pet’s prescriptions.

Emergency Care

If your pet experiences a medical emergency, please contact the nearest veterinary emergency clinic immediately, as Michigan Humane clinics are not equipped to provide emergency care.
