Gifts from Donor-Advised Funds or Retirement Accounts

Michigan Humane gladly accepts contributions directed from donor-advised funds and retirement accounts. For donors age 70½ and older, distributions from your IRA can be made as Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), potentially lowering your taxable income while supporting our mission.

You can support our work by donating gently used items through American Textile Recycling Services. Locate an ATRS recycle box near you to donate shoes, apparel, and household items, and help raise funds for animals in need.
