At Michigan Humane, we do far more than place pets in homes. As the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in the state, we provide rescue, emergency care, shelter, medical services, community outreach and support for pets and the people who love them. Our mission is to improve and save lives through compassionate care, community engagement, and advocacy for animals — work we accomplish every day with support from passionate corporate partners.
Deposit Policy
Michigan Humane requires a $50 deposit to book an appointment for spay/neuter of dogs, cats or rabbits or a $100 deposit to book a dental procedure appointment. If an appointment is missed or rescheduled with less than two business days of notice, the deposit will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule your appointment with more than two business days of notice to our clinic, the deposit can be moved to the future appointment.
The deposit will be accepted by debit or credit card over the phone at the time the appointment is scheduled. Appointments will not be scheduled without an appointment deposit. Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable.
