Each year, Michigan Humane experiences “kitten season,” when warmer weather leads to an increase in kittens entering local shelters. During this time, foster families play a vital role in caring for kittens of all ages. They provide food, safety, and socialization until the kittens are healthy, old enough to be sterilized, and ready for adoption. Many of these kittens are neonatal and require extra attention and support.
