Mimosa has been diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This disease is not curable, but she can still live a very long and healthy life! FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds and is unlikely to be spread through sharing of water bowls or other close contact. Friendly cats who develop stable relationships without fighting are at minimal risk of transmission, so slow introductions are highly recommended!
